The Journey Begins

Labels:

Welcome to Share Synthesis! This is the first of the many posts which embarks a journey to create a community to synthesize ideas of the many investors in the realm of investing/trading.

What prompted the start of this grand project begins when a small group of three people believed that to better position ourselves with knowledge to make more sound investments/trades,  we need to appreciate the investing/trading philosophies of various investors/traders, and with these ideas fuse them to create an optimal methodology that befits one's investor/trader's appetite.

From this simple idea, Share Synthesis is born.

syn⋅the⋅sisas the name suggest, is the combining of constituent elements ofseparation material or abstract entities into a single or unified entity (www.dictionary.com).

Whether one is a fundamental investor, technical analyst, sentimental trader, or other schools of trading/investing, it does not matter. What WE believe is that although these styles of investing/trading are fundamentally different, synthesis could be obtained if we are able to extract the crux of each school of thought and fuse them to a style which optimize one's investing methods.

To achieve this goal, we hope to build a community large enough so that ideas will be exchanged freely. This project will come in 3 phases.

1) To Kickstart the Project

As we are in the initial stage, what we intend to do is to put our ideas in this blog. As much as possible, we would like to link the articles of other users in our blog so that we could consolidate the different analysis of the particular stock. Feel free to email us at thesharesynthesis@gmail.com if you want us to link your articles to this blog.

2) To Broaden the Community
This is currently work in progress as we are trying to build a website more powerful than a blog to house all the analysis and comments on stocks. This will be the final output of our project and hopefully the website could be kickstarted by end of 2009.

3) To maintain and enrich the Users
In the spirit of continuous improvement, we will hope to implement tools to assist our users to share knowledge more efficiently.

Big Dreams start with small steps...........
